INDG wins prestigious award in A Coruña

During the international 3D festival Mundos Digitales in the Spanish city of A Coruña, INDG's interior design website Amikasa.com won the award for best real-time presentation. Creative director Frans Vriesendorp was presented the coveted glass statue by jury chairman Jeff Mottle.

The web concept was launched by INDG in April of this year. At Amikasa.com consumers can decorate and redesign the interior of their homes; in 3D and free of charge. This way they can immediately see if a certain wallpaper, table or designer chair really does look good in their home. Currently it is not possible to purchase the items seen at Amikasa.com directly from this website. However, the future objective is to develop Amikasa.com into an online shopping platform.

By winning this international award INDG hopes to shine an international spotlight on Amikasa.com. Initially, the focus will be on the Dutch market, whereas INDG is planning to expand the concept to England and Germany in the course of 2010. Talks were held in A Coruña with parties from the US, Brazil and Russia that have shown interest in Amikasa.
